Welcome to Stitch-A-Cross !!

We first opened our store in 1981, incorporating it with our hardware store on Waring Road.  You should have seen the look on our customer's faces when they found us there!  First, a bit of bewilderment, than a look of joy.  Although we moved about 8 years ago to our current location, we still serve many of our original customers, as well as many new ones. We think that says a lot about our selection and service.

I, (Elizabeth),  started cross stitching in 1975.  How lucky I was to be able to combine my passion for cross stitch with a job when we opened Stitch-A-Cross.  This is definitely not work!!

NOTE: In the photos below, you can see a few of the many models I have stitched.   Some of these are for sale.  If you are interested in any of them, please don't hesitate to ask us about them.

Come and look around, our walls are covered with stitched models that may introduce you to designs / designers that you are not familiar with.
